Do I have to sign a contract?
We have a rental agreement for the first month, renewable on a month to month basis by paying rent.
What is the difference between office hours and gate hours?
Office hours are hours when a facility manager is available to assist you; Monday – Friday 8.30 am to 5pm, Saturday 9am- 2pm. The office is closed on public holidays. Gate hours are hours you will have access to your unit using your personal gate access code; 7am – 9pm daily.
How long can I stay?
You can stay as long as you want or need, there is no limit as long as you continue to pay for the use of your storage unit at least one month in advance.
What is the minimum period I have to rent a unit?
The minimum timeframe you need to rent a unit is one month.
Can I move in today?
Yes, you can, provided there is a unit the size you require available, you have signed an agreement form and pay one month in advance.
What is a drive up unit?
This is a unit that allows access from the driveway directly to the unit door. Giving you the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck.
What is a roll-up door?
We have roller garage style doors that you simply roll up to enter.
When can I get my belongings?
As our tenant, you will have access to your unit 7 days a week during normal gate hours using your personal gate access code; 7am – 9pm daily.
Do I provide my own lock?
Yes, you can either bring your own lock with you or purchase a new lock from our facility. We highly recommend you use a lock on your unit to provide you the highest level of security.
How do I get inside the gate?
Our facilities have an electronic gate system which can only be opened by a tenant using their own assigned security code.
What happens if I don’t pay?
You need to pay one month in advance, if you stop paying your storage fees you will incur penalty fees and if these are not paid within a given timeframe we will over-lock your storage unit. You will not be able to gain access to your unit again until all overdue fees are paid in full. If payment is still not made we will sell your goods by public auction to recover some of the outstanding fees, any money left over after this will be returned to you.
Do you have security cameras?
Yes, our facility does have surveillance cameras.
Do you prorate my move out?
Monthly billing is done on the anniversary of your move-in date. 7 days notice of moving out is required to get a refund of unpaid rent. Yes we do prorate so you only pay for the time you occupy the unit.
What is an on-site manager?
On-site managers live on the facility grounds and ensure our facilities are safe and secure.
Can I store a Car/RV/Camper/Boat/Motorcycle?
We offer storage of vehicles depending on location and size of the vehicle. Limited spaces available. Please contact us for details.
How can I make payments?
Payments are processed in person, automatic payments or arrange to have your payment automatically charged to your credit card; we accept Visa and MasterCard.
What are the terms and conditions of this website?
We make no warranties on this site and its terms are subject to change at any point in time. We are not responsible for technical difficulties of any sort including a network failure or delayed connection.
Do we need to get our own insurance?
Insurance is the client’s responsibility. Most household insurance will cover goods while in our facility if notified prior to storage. Commercial tenants would need to talk to their insurer.
What happens when I don’t need the unit any longer?
When you no longer need the storage unit, please give 7 DAYS NOTICE. The office also needs to be notified on the day of moving out. All items stored in the unit need to be removed, the unit left in a clean and tidy condition and the unit left unlocked.
